WOLF HUNTING
In Macedonia, there is an abundance of wolves despite the country’s small territory. According to recent studies, it is estimated that the wolf population here is around 2,000 which is a substantial number for Macedonia’s 10,000 squared miles (25,000 squared km) surface. The biggest reason for such a high number is the large population of sheep and goats that also dwell on the same land. In addition, climate and other geographical conditions contribute to their reproduction, habitat and feeding. Over the last decade, Macedonia has become the most popular destination for wolf hunting in Europe and perhaps, even in the world. Annually, over 100 hunters successfully obtain quality trophies as a result of their hunts here. Be part of the experience.

GREECE
Kri Kri Ibex (Capra Aegagrus Cretica) is the smallest ibex by body weight than all other ibexes but not by the length of its antlers. A select few specimens which were hunted and not reported were larger than 115 cm. Gold Medal trophies begin from 61 cm (24 inches).
In Greece, Kri Kri ibex hunts are available on the islands Atalanti and Sapienca. The hunting season on Atalanti starts during the last week of October and ends after the first week of December. On Sapienca, the hunting season lasts throughout the entire month of November and sometimes the first week of December, depending on weather conditions.
The two islands are not inhabited and are strictly used for the conservancy of Kri Kri ibexes. Dasaiheo is the state organ which protects and regulates the Kri Kri ibex conservancy, and each year in September it decides whether Kri Kri ibex will be hunted depending on their numbers and health condition.

The red deer (Cervus elaphus) is one of the largest deer species. It inhabits most of Europe, the Caucasus Mountains region, Asia Minor, Iran, parts of western Asia, and central Asia. It also inhabits the Atlas Mountains region between Morocco and Tunisia in northwestern Africa, being the only species of deer to inhabit Africa. Red deer have been introduced to other areas, including Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Peru, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina. In many parts of the world, the meat (venison) from red deer is used as a food source.

BALKAN CHAMOIS HUNTS
IN MACEDONIA'S NATURAL BEAUTY
Balkan Chamois (Rupicapra Balcanika), a type of chamois, is widely spread across all Balkan countries – Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania and Greece - and its largest concentration can be found in Macedonia. It typically dwells on altitudes over 2,000 meters (6,560 ft.) but is known to climb down to places lower than 1,000 m (3,280 ft.), particularly during winter as well as at times when evading predators. It is a beautiful animal and also considered a fantastic trophy among European hunters. In Alpine counties, citizens make traditional cloths from its hide. In addition to its large presence across the European continent, it can be also found in parts of Asia.
Its hunting season begins in August and ends in January. Both male and female specimens can be hunted. Mating season is in October and the beginning of November – this period is considered as the best time frame for hunting. Shooting distance is between 150 and 300 m and it is recommended to shoot using 270, 308, 7 mag and 300 vin mag calibers.
